Description
This MRCOOL DIY 5th Generation multi-zone system pairs a 48,000 BTU condenser rated at 21.8 SEER2 and 10.0 HSPF2 with six wall-mounted indoor units (9K + 9K + 9K + 9K + 9K + 6K BTU), sized to heat and cool up to 6 separate spaces totaling up to 2,000 sq. ft.
Highlights
- DIY-ready installation — patented pre-charged Quick Connect® line sets (filled with R-454B refrigerant) let you skip the evacuation and vacuuming steps an HVAC pro would normally handle.
- Six wall-mounted indoor units (9K + 9K + 9K + 9K + 9K + 6K BTU) run off one 48,000 BTU condenser, so a single system can condition up to 2,000 sq. ft. across separate rooms.
- DIYPro® cable is included, removing the need for electrical conduit between condenser and indoor units.
- Full app and voice control — the SmartHVAC app (iOS/Android) plus Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant integration let you set schedules and manage each zone remotely.
- Follow Me® function reads the temperature near the remote to keep comfort even throughout the room.
- Backed by a 5-year parts warranty and 7-year compressor warranty, with a Limited Lifetime Replacement warranty available through the MRCOOL Care Program.
Details
Avermont Direct is an authorized MRCOOL dealer, and this 6-zone DIY system is built for homeowners who want whole-home ductless comfort without hiring an HVAC contractor. It uses wall-mounted indoor units for a straightforward, conventional installation in each room, and the whole system is covered by a 5-year parts warranty and 7-year compressor warranty from MRCOOL. It's a fit for larger homes or multi-room additions where six separate spaces need independent heating and cooling from one outdoor condenser.
