DIY or professional?
A DIY system is designed to go in without a contractor. The line sets are charged at the factory, so you mount the units, run the line set and tighten the fittings by hand. Nothing has to be brazed or evacuated, no licence is required, and fitting it yourself does not affect the manufacturer warranty.
A professional system is charged on site instead. A licensed HVAC contractor brazes the connections, evacuates the lines and commissions the system. That route also opens up ceiling-concealed ducted handlers, which the DIY range does not offer, and lets line sets be cut to the exact run.
