Description
This MRCOOL DIY 5th Gen mini-split system pairs a 55,000 BTU, 5-zone outdoor condenser with 18K + 9K + 9K + 6K + 6K BTU wall-mount indoor air handlers, giving each zone independent heating and cooling from a single pre-charged, DIY-installable system.
Highlights
- Pre-charged DIY QuickConnect line sets are filled with R-454B refrigerant, so installation skips the evacuation and vacuuming steps a professional install normally requires.
- The included DIYPro cable removes the need for electrical conduit between the condenser and each indoor unit, simplifying the outdoor wiring run.
- Rated SEER2 22 and HSPF2 10.6, helping keep energy costs down across all 5 zones.
- The Follow Me function on each air handler's remote tracks the temperature near you for more consistent comfort in the room.
- The Smart HVAC Controller Module and app support Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant out of the box, plus schedule and mode control from a phone.
- Backed by a 5-year parts warranty and a 7-year compressor warranty, with a Limited Lifetime Replacement warranty available after enrolling in the MRCOOL Care Program.

Avermont Direct is an authorized MRCOOL dealer, and this DIY 5th Gen 5-zone system is built for homeowners who want to condition several rooms — bedrooms, a home office, a finished basement, or an addition — without the cost of a whole professional installation crew. Each zone runs its wall-mount air handler independently, so you can heat or cool only the rooms in use.
