Description
This MRCOOL DIY 5th Generation 5-Zone system pairs a 55,000 BTU ductless condenser with five OuttaSight Ceiling Cassette indoor air handlers (18K + 18K + 12K + 9K + 9K BTU) to heat and cool up to 5 separate rooms or zones from one outdoor unit. It's rated at SEER2 22 and HSPF2-4 10.6, and every indoor unit connects through a pre-charged R-454B Quick-Connect line set, so the whole system installs without hiring an HVAC professional.
Highlights
- True DIY installation — pre-charged R-454B Quick-Connect line sets skip the evacuation and vacuuming steps that normally require a licensed HVAC technician.
- High efficiency — a SEER2 rating of 22 and an HSPF2-4 rating of 10.6 are built in to help lower energy costs over the life of the system.
- Smart, flexible control — run the system from the SmartHVAC app (Apple and Android) or hands-free through Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant/Google Home.
- Included wireless remote per zone — the Follow Me function tracks the temperature near the remote for more even comfort, and Dry Mode helps manage indoor humidity.
- Low-profile ceiling installation — each OuttaSight Ceiling Cassette fits flush between 16" ceiling joists (including pre-manufactured I-joists) with no exposed wall unit.
- Advanced filtration — the Elevation function lowers the filter panel for easy cleaning and maintenance.
