Description
This MRCOOL DIY 5th Gen 4-Zone ductless mini-split system pairs a 55,000 BTU outdoor condenser with 24K+12K+12K+9K BTU wall mount indoor air handlers, and is designed for do-it-yourself installation without hiring an HVAC professional.
Highlights
- Tool-free refrigerant connections — each air handler connects to the condenser with a pre-charged MRCOOL DIY Quick Connect line set filled with R-454B refrigerant, so there's no vacuuming, evacuation, or refrigerant charging required during installation.
- Rated efficiency — this system is rated 22 SEER2 and 10.6 HSPF2-4.
- Smart controls — each zone can be managed with the included wireless remote, the MRCOOL SmartHVAC app (iOS and Android), or hands-free through Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant.
- Conduit-free wiring — the included DIYPro cable eliminates the need for electrical conduit between the condenser and each air handler.
- Follow Me & Dry Mode — the wireless remote's Follow Me function adjusts airflow based on the remote's location, and Dry Mode helps reduce excess indoor humidity.
- Corrosion-resistant outdoor unit — the condenser's Gold Fin coating adds protection in coastal or high-humidity climates.
Details
Avermont Direct is an authorized MRCOOL dealer. This 4-zone wall mount system is backed by a 5-year parts warranty and a 7-year compressor warranty from MRCOOL, with a Limited Lifetime Replacement warranty available to customers who enroll in the MRCOOL Care Program. It's a fit for homeowners who want to condition multiple rooms from a single outdoor condenser without opening walls for ductwork. Note: this condenser is rated for up to 6 zones and approximately 2,290 sq. ft. of total capacity per MRCOOL; this listing is configured as a 4-zone system with the 24K+12K+12K+9K BTU indoor units above, and it is normal for a multi-zone MRCOOL condenser's rated capacity not to exactly equal the sum of the individual indoor unit ratings.
