Description
This MRCOOL DIY 5th Gen 4-Zone 48,000 BTU ductless mini-split system pairs a single outdoor condenser with four ceiling cassette indoor air handlers (12K + 9K + 9K + 9K BTU), and is rated at 21.8 SEER2 / 10 HSPF2. It's designed to be installed without the assistance of an HVAC professional, using pre-charged Quick Connect line sets that skip the evacuation and charging process.
Highlights
- Do-it-yourself install — pre-charged 25-ft Quick Connect line sets (R-454B refrigerant) eliminate the vacuuming and evacuation steps a licensed HVAC technician would otherwise handle.
- No electrical conduit needed — the included DIYPro cable replaces conduit for the condenser wiring run and adds durability against outdoor elements and wildlife.
- Smart, zone-by-zone control — each indoor unit ships with a wireless remote and can be managed individually through the SmartHVAC app or by voice through Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant.
- Follow Me temperature tracking — the remote reports ambient temperature from its own location so the system can adjust airflow for more even comfort.
- Low-profile ceiling cassette design — OuttaSight indoor units fit flush between standard 16" ceiling joists (including pre-manufactured I-joists) for both new construction and retrofit installs.
- Easy filter access — the Elevation function lowers the filter panel for simple maintenance, and Swing Technology directs airflow automatically.
Details
Avermont Direct is an authorized MRCOOL dealer, and this 4-zone system is backed by MRCOOL's standard 5-year parts and 7-year compressor warranty, with a Limited Lifetime Replacement warranty available when the condenser is registered through the MRCOOL Care Program. Because each of the four ceiling cassette indoor units is controlled independently, this system suits homes that need different temperatures across multiple rooms without extending or modifying existing ductwork.
