Description
This MRCOOL® DIY® 5th Generation 3-zone ductless mini-split pairs a 55,000 BTU outdoor condenser with three ceiling cassette indoor air handlers sized 12K + 12K + 12K BTU, rated for do-it-yourself installation with no HVAC professional required. The condenser is rated to heat and cool up to 6 separate zones totaling up to 2,290 sq. ft., achieving 22 SEER2 and an HSPF2-4 of 10.6.
Highlights
- No HVAC professional required – the pre-charged 25-foot DIY® QuickConnect® line set arrives filled with R-454B refrigerant, so there's no evacuating or charging to do on site.
- Three-zone flexibility – the 55,000 BTU condenser powers this 12K + 12K + 12K BTU ceiling cassette combination, letting each room be heated or cooled independently.
- Efficient, eco-friendly operation – rated up to 22 SEER2 and an HSPF2-4 of 10.6 using R-454B refrigerant.
- Smart control options – operate the system with the included wireless remote, the SmartHVAC app (Apple and Android), or voice commands through Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant.
- Low-profile ceiling cassette design – each air handler fits flush between 16" ceiling joists, including pre-manufactured I-joists, with no exposed wall unit.
- Easy-access filter maintenance – the Elevation function lowers the filter panel for simple cleaning, and advanced filtration helps improve indoor air quality.
