This MRCOOL DIY 5th Gen 3-zone ductless mini-split system pairs a 27,000 BTU condenser with 12,000 BTU, 12,000 BTU, 12,000 BTU wall-mount air handlers, giving you independent heating and cooling in three rooms without hiring an HVAC professional. The condenser reaches a SEER2 rating of up to 23 and an HSPF2-4 rating of up to 9.5, and installs using pre-charged Quick Connect® line sets filled with R-454B refrigerant.

Avermont Direct is an authorized MRCOOL dealer, and this 3-zone DIY system is built for homeowners adding independent heating and cooling to three rooms — bedrooms, home offices, or an addition, for example — without opening walls for ductwork or scheduling a professional HVAC install. The condenser is backed by a 7-year compressor warranty and a 5-year parts warranty, with a Limited Lifetime Replacement warranty available through enrollment in the MRCOOL® Care Program. Each wall-mount air handler connects to the condenser through a pre-charged Quick Connect® line set, so once the lines are run and connected the system is ready to use without additional refrigerant handling.

Shipping
- Orders of $200 or more ship free within the contiguous United States. Orders under $200 ship for a flat $9.99.
- In-stock items (shown as “In Stock” on the product page) ordered before 1:00 PM Pacific Time on a business day typically ship within 1–3 business days. Delivery usually takes 3–7 business days after shipping.
- Backorder, Partial Backorder and Custom Order items are not covered by the 1–3 business day processing time. Their estimated restock or ship time is shown in the stock status on the product page before you order.
- Large items ship by freight and are typically delivered curbside. Smaller items ship by ground carrier such as FedEx or UPS.
- We ship to the 48 contiguous states. We do not ship to Alaska, Hawaii or P.O. boxes.
- Please inspect your delivery on arrival and report any concealed damage or missing parts within 24 hours.
Returns
- Returns can be requested within 30 days of delivery. Items must be unused, uninstalled, in new resalable condition and in their original packaging, including the pallet if delivered on one.
- Approved returns are subject to a 15% restocking fee, and return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility unless the return is the result of our error.
- Installed or used products, custom and made-to-order items, clearance or final-sale items, and replacement parts and accessories are not eligible for return.
