Details
Avermont Direct is an authorized MRCOOL dealer, and this heat kit ships as genuine MRCOOL equipment. A heat kit like the UHK10 gives a heat-pump system a source of supplemental electric heat on cold days, when the outdoor unit alone cannot keep up with the heating load. It is backed by the manufacturer's warranty — see product documentation for full terms.
