Description
The Crystal Quest Fluoride Removal + SMART Single Under Sink Water Filter System uses seven stages in one replaceable cartridge to treat municipal water that contains inorganic fluoride. Its fluoride stage is rated for 4500 ppm of fluoride, an average of 1000 to 1500 gallons.
Highlights
- Fluoride charcoal GAC stage targets fluoride, lead and arsenic through adsorption and chemical reaction
- Copper and zinc alloy media (ERA-6500 and ERA-9500) oxidizes chlorine
- Ion exchange resins reduce lead, copper, aluminum and hardness
- Coconut shell and catalytic GAC address chloramines, trihalomethanes, VOCs, pesticides and taste and odor chemicals
- 1-micron pre- and post-filter pads hold back silt, sediment, sand, rust and dirt
- Replaceable cartridge (CQE-RC-04152) keeps the housing in service
