Description
This Crystal Quest pleated ultrafiltration membrane has a 0.1-micron nominal rating, holding back bacteria, protozoan cysts, colloids and fine particles while water and dissolved minerals pass through. It needs no drain line and no electricity, and it sends no water to waste.

- Thunder under-sink RO: first pre-filter at the inlet (CQE-RC-04055), ahead of SMART Plus and carbon block
- Thunder 2000 and 4000: capsule installed after the storage tank; check the part number on the existing capsule
- Voyager replaceable systems: first stage in double (UF, SMART) and triple (UF, SMART, carbon block) setups
- Whole house cartridge systems that list the 2-7/8" x 20" size use CQE-RC-04056; for inline/sealed, choose Jaco or Quick Connect to match your current connections
- Not rated for full virus reduction, since many viruses are smaller than the pores; pair with UV or reverse osmosis where that is a concern, and use UV with regular testing for water known to be microbiologically unsafe
- Not designed to treat chlorine, chloramine, VOCs, lead, fluoride, nitrate, arsenic, hardness or TDS; pair with a SMART cartridge, carbon block or RO for those
- Protect from freezing; in a complete system, follow that system's own pressure and temperature range
Shipping
- Orders of $200 or more ship free within the contiguous United States. Orders under $200 ship for a flat $9.99.
- In-stock items (shown as “In Stock” on the product page) ordered before 1:00 PM Pacific Time on a business day typically ship within 1–3 business days. Delivery usually takes 3–7 business days after shipping.
- Backorder, Partial Backorder and Custom Order items are not covered by the 1–3 business day processing time. Their estimated restock or ship time is shown in the stock status on the product page before you order.
- Large items ship by freight and are typically delivered curbside. Smaller items ship by ground carrier such as FedEx or UPS.
- We ship to the 48 contiguous states. We do not ship to Alaska, Hawaii or P.O. boxes.
- Please inspect your delivery on arrival and report any concealed damage or missing parts within 24 hours.
Returns
- Returns can be requested within 30 days of delivery. Items must be unused, uninstalled, in new resalable condition and in their original packaging, including the pallet if delivered on one.
- Approved returns are subject to a 15% restocking fee, and return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility unless the return is the result of our error.
- Installed or used products, custom and made-to-order items, clearance or final-sale items, and replacement parts and accessories are not eligible for return.
