Description
Turbidity is the cloudiness caused by suspended matter in water. The Crystal Quest Turbidity Whole House Water Filter uses a natural mineral media tank to reduce sediment and suspended matter down to the 5-micron range at the point where water enters the home.

Details
Avermont Direct is an authorized Crystal Quest dealer. This system is suited to homes on wells or other supplies with cloudy water from suspended sediment, where whole-house treatment is preferred. The metered valve can be set to backwash by days, for example every 7 days, or by gallons, for example every 3,000 gallons.

- Stainless steel tanks may develop pinholes or rust in high humidity, where salt is present, or where condensation is not wiped down; fiberglass is recommended in those conditions
Shipping
- Orders of $200 or more ship free within the contiguous United States. Orders under $200 ship for a flat $9.99.
- In-stock items (shown as “In Stock” on the product page) ordered before 1:00 PM Pacific Time on a business day typically ship within 1–3 business days. Delivery usually takes 3–7 business days after shipping.
- Backorder, Partial Backorder and Custom Order items are not covered by the 1–3 business day processing time. Their estimated restock or ship time is shown in the stock status on the product page before you order.
- Large items ship by freight and are typically delivered curbside. Smaller items ship by ground carrier such as FedEx or UPS.
- We ship to the 48 contiguous states. We do not ship to Alaska, Hawaii or P.O. boxes.
- Please inspect your delivery on arrival and report any concealed damage or missing parts within 24 hours.
Returns
- Returns can be requested within 30 days of delivery. Items must be unused, uninstalled, in new resalable condition and in their original packaging, including the pallet if delivered on one.
- Approved returns are subject to a 15% restocking fee, and return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility unless the return is the result of our error.
- Installed or used products, custom and made-to-order items, clearance or final-sale items, and replacement parts and accessories are not eligible for return.
