Description
The Crystal Quest SMART Filter Cartridge combines several filtration media in one replacement cartridge, so water passes through adsorption, catalytic chloramine reduction, redox, ion exchange and 1-micron particle filtration in a single pass. It is offered in four sizes and three levels, with published capacities from 10,000 to 300,000 gallons.

- Coconut shell activated carbon and catalytic carbon reduce chlorine, chloramine, taste and odor
- ERA 6500 and ERA 9500 copper-zinc redox media target chlorine, ferrous iron and hydrogen sulfide
- Ion-exchange resin with selectivity for heavy metals, including lead and mercury at lower levels
- Also targets VOCs, THMs, pesticides, herbicides and pharmaceutical residues
- Plus, Ultra and Ultimate levels share the same flow rate per size, with higher capacity at each step
- Can serve as an RO pre-filter to protect the membrane from chlorine
Details
Avermont Direct is an authorized Crystal Quest dealer. This cartridge is used in Crystal Quest single, double and triple housing systems, specialty systems and as pre-filtration for under-sink and whole house reverse osmosis systems. When used as an RO pre-filter on chlorinated city water, annual replacement is recommended.

Shipping
- Orders of $200 or more ship free within the contiguous United States. Orders under $200 ship for a flat $9.99.
- In-stock items (shown as “In Stock” on the product page) ordered before 1:00 PM Pacific Time on a business day typically ship within 1–3 business days. Delivery usually takes 3–7 business days after shipping.
- Backorder, Partial Backorder and Custom Order items are not covered by the 1–3 business day processing time. Their estimated restock or ship time is shown in the stock status on the product page before you order.
- Large items ship by freight and are typically delivered curbside. Smaller items ship by ground carrier such as FedEx or UPS.
- We ship to the 48 contiguous states. We do not ship to Alaska, Hawaii or P.O. boxes.
- Please inspect your delivery on arrival and report any concealed damage or missing parts within 24 hours.
Returns
- Returns can be requested within 30 days of delivery. Items must be unused, uninstalled, in new resalable condition and in their original packaging, including the pallet if delivered on one.
- Approved returns are subject to a 15% restocking fee, and return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility unless the return is the result of our error.
- Installed or used products, custom and made-to-order items, clearance or final-sale items, and replacement parts and accessories are not eligible for return.
