Description
The Crystal Quest Nitrate Removal + SMART Refrigerator / In-Line Water Filter System uses nitrate-selective resin rated for 90% to 95% nitrate reduction, plus SMART multi-media filtration, on the water line to a refrigerator or ice maker. The cartridge is regenerated by hand with a salt solution every 20 to 30 days.
Highlights
- Nitrate-selective resin rated for 90% to 95% nitrate reduction
- Breakthrough is not affected by sulfate levels
- Regenerates with ordinary salt brine, so the cartridge stays in service
- ERA-6500, ERA-9500 and two types of coconut shell GAC address chlorine, chloramine, pesticides and herbicides
- Two 1-micron filter pads capture fine particles
- Also suits water fountains, water coolers, commercial coffee makers and ice machines
Details
Avermont Direct is an authorized Crystal Quest dealer. This filter is suited to homes that need nitrate reduction at a refrigerator or other point-of-use appliance and can keep up with a monthly salt soak. Without regular regeneration the nitrate media becomes exhausted, so plan regeneration around the nitrate level shown in a water test.
