Description
The Crystal Quest Nitrate Under Sink Water Filter System uses nitrate-selective media rated for 90% to 95% nitrate reduction, and its breakthrough is not affected by sulfate levels. The nitrate cartridge is regenerated by hand with a simple salt brine every 20 to 30 days.

Details
Avermont Direct is an authorized Crystal Quest dealer. This system installs under the sink and feeds its own faucet. Nitrate capacity per cycle depends on the nitrate level in your water, so a water test helps set the regeneration schedule.

- To regenerate: soak the nitrate cartridge in brine for 1 to 2 hours, soak in tap water for 1 to 2 hours, rinse under running water and reinstall
- Without regeneration the nitrate media becomes exhausted and stops reducing nitrate
- Installation valve must be selected when ordering: saddle valve for hard copper tubing or T-valve for flex tubing
- A leak detector or flood-prevention valve is recommended
Shipping
- Orders of $200 or more ship free within the contiguous United States. Orders under $200 ship for a flat $9.99.
- In-stock items (shown as “In Stock” on the product page) ordered before 1:00 PM Pacific Time on a business day typically ship within 1–3 business days. Delivery usually takes 3–7 business days after shipping.
- Backorder, Partial Backorder and Custom Order items are not covered by the 1–3 business day processing time. Their estimated restock or ship time is shown in the stock status on the product page before you order.
- Large items ship by freight and are typically delivered curbside. Smaller items ship by ground carrier such as FedEx or UPS.
- We ship to the 48 contiguous states. We do not ship to Alaska, Hawaii or P.O. boxes.
- Please inspect your delivery on arrival and report any concealed damage or missing parts within 24 hours.
Returns
- Returns can be requested within 30 days of delivery. Items must be unused, uninstalled, in new resalable condition and in their original packaging, including the pallet if delivered on one.
- Approved returns are subject to a 15% restocking fee, and return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility unless the return is the result of our error.
- Installed or used products, custom and made-to-order items, clearance or final-sale items, and replacement parts and accessories are not eligible for return.
