This GeoCool downflow heat pump draws on the stable temperature of the ground or a water source to heat and cool the home rather than relying on outside air, which lets a two-stage compressor run efficiently instead of cycling at full load. Base warranty: 5-year limited parts; when registered, coverage extends to a 10-year limited parts warranty and a 10-year compressor warranty. It's sized for homes with a coverage need around 1,000 sq. ft., and installation by a licensed HVAC professional is required for the warranty to apply.
