Details
Avermont Direct is an authorized MRCOOL dealer. This GeoCool horizontal heat pump uses the stable, moderate temperature of the ground or a water source instead of outside air to heat and cool the home, which is why geothermal systems can run more efficiently than conventional air-source units in many climates. Base warranty: 5-year limited parts; when registered, coverage extends to a 10-year limited parts warranty and a 10-year compressor warranty. It's sized for homes with a coverage need around 1000 sq. ft. and, like any geothermal system, requires professional installation by a licensed HVAC contractor. The built-in desuperheater can also help offset domestic water heating costs by recovering waste heat from the compressor.
