Description
Homes and buildings built before 1986 commonly used lead pipes, fixtures, and solder, and dissolved lead can't be seen, smelled, or tasted. The Crystal Quest Lead Removal Whole House Water Filter treats water at the point of entry with a four-stage system built around a lead removal ion exchange resin.
Highlights
- Four stages: sediment pre-filter, lead removal resin, carbon block post-filter, and SMART Multimedia
- Ion exchange resin targets lead along with calcium and magnesium hardness
- Automatic control valve regenerates the resin on a programmed schedule, generally weekly
- Four service flow sizes from 6-8 GPM to 16-18 GPM to match household demand
- Fiberglass or stainless steel tank options
Details
Avermont Direct is an authorized Crystal Quest dealer. Choose the system size based on your household flow rate and the lead level found in testing; larger homes with higher contaminant levels need a higher GPM system. The resin regenerates repeatedly using salt or potassium chloride.
