Description
The Crystal Quest Lead Filter Cartridge targets dissolved lead with a mixed bed of catalytic carbon, Eagle Redox Alloy copper-zinc granules and cation-exchange resin. It comes in four sizes rated from 10,000 to 160,000 gallons at under 100 ppm hardness.

Avermont Direct is an authorized Crystal Quest dealer. This cartridge can run alone, after a SMART Plus cartridge in a double system, or after a carbon block and SMART Plus in a triple system. Capacity figures are estimates that depend on incoming water and usage, so choose the size that matches the housing you have.

- Particulate lead is not reliably removed by the granular bed; a 5-micron carbon block stage ahead of it is recommended in multi-stage systems
- May also reduce some other dissolved heavy metals and organic compounds where present; these are not separately tested ratings for this cartridge
- Not designed to treat bacteria and viruses, fluoride, nitrate, arsenic, TDS or hardness
- Calcium and magnesium compete with lead for resin sites, so harder water shortens cartridge life
- Use only on microbiologically safe water; test for lead before and after installation and retest on a schedule
- Cartridge color may change between production runs; manufactured under ISO 9001 quality management
Shipping
- Orders of $200 or more ship free within the contiguous United States. Orders under $200 ship for a flat $9.99.
- In-stock items (shown as “In Stock” on the product page) ordered before 1:00 PM Pacific Time on a business day typically ship within 1–3 business days. Delivery usually takes 3–7 business days after shipping.
- Backorder, Partial Backorder and Custom Order items are not covered by the 1–3 business day processing time. Their estimated restock or ship time is shown in the stock status on the product page before you order.
- Large items ship by freight and are typically delivered curbside. Smaller items ship by ground carrier such as FedEx or UPS.
- We ship to the 48 contiguous states. We do not ship to Alaska, Hawaii or P.O. boxes.
- Please inspect your delivery on arrival and report any concealed damage or missing parts within 24 hours.
Returns
- Returns can be requested within 30 days of delivery. Items must be unused, uninstalled, in new resalable condition and in their original packaging, including the pallet if delivered on one.
- Approved returns are subject to a 15% restocking fee, and return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility unless the return is the result of our error.
- Installed or used products, custom and made-to-order items, clearance or final-sale items, and replacement parts and accessories are not eligible for return.
