The Fluoride Countertop Water Filter System uses a fluoride removal cartridge containing Fluoride Charcoal Granulated Activated Carbon (GAC), unless Aluminum Oxide is requested, rated for approximately 4,500 ppm fluoride (average 1,000–1,500 gallons), and capable of handling up to 11,000 ppm fluoride with effluent levels below 0.2 ppm from a 10 ppm fluoride feed.
Highlights
- Fluoride removal media (Fluoride Charcoal GAC, or Aluminum Oxide if requested) has a high affinity for fluoride, lead, and arsenic, removing them via adsorption and chemical reaction rather than ion exchange
- Media has a uniform particle size, is physically stable, and can be used over a wide pH range
- Cartridge capacity: 4,500 ppm fluoride (avg. 1,000–1,500 gallons); can handle up to 11,000 ppm F+ with effluent below 0.2 ppm from a 10 ppm F+ feed
- SMART cartridge blend (coconut-shell GAC, Eagle Redox Alloys ERA-6500 & ERA-9500, anion exchange resin) reduces heavy metals, chlorine/chloramine, pesticides, and herbicides
- 5-micron carbon block cartridge reduces VOCs, insecticides, pesticides, and industrial solvents
- Rated for up to 10,000 gallons of filtered water (about 1–3 years)
