Description
The Ebac Freestar removes a typical 105 pints of moisture per day while drawing only 8 A on a 110V single-phase supply. It runs from 33°F up to 105°F, so the same unit can work through a cold unheated building in winter and a hot storage room in summer.
Highlights
- Low 8 A draw: 105 PPD typical extraction from a standard 110V circuit at 900 W.
- Reverse cycle defrost: temperature-sensitive defrost control clears coil frost and returns to drying without anyone stepping in.
- Integral condensate pump: water is pumped out through a 3/8" tube with a quick release hose coupling, so no floor drain is needed beside the unit.
- Internal humidistat with remote option: set humidity at the unit or wire in a remote humidistat.
- GFI mains plug: ground-fault protection right at the cord.
- Washable filter and adjustable feet: rinse the filter during routine checks and level the 160 lb cabinet on uneven floors.
Details
The Freestar suits unheated warehouses, garages, basements and storage buildings that swing from near freezing to 105°F through the year. It stands on the floor and drains through its own pump, which keeps placement flexible.

- Orders of $200 or more ship free within the contiguous United States. Orders under $200 ship for a flat $9.99.
- In-stock items (shown as “In Stock” on the product page) ordered before 1:00 PM Pacific Time on a business day typically ship within 1–3 business days. Delivery usually takes 3–7 business days after shipping.

Returns
- Returns can be requested within 30 days of delivery. Items must be unused, uninstalled, in new resalable condition and in their original packaging, including the pallet if delivered on one.
- Approved returns are subject to a 15% restocking fee, and return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility unless the return is the result of our error.
- Installed or used products, custom and made-to-order items, clearance or final-sale items, and replacement parts and accessories are not eligible for return.
