Description
The Crystal Quest Eaglesorb ES3 Anti-Scale Water Filter Cartridge reduces hard-water scale without salt, a brine tank, wastewater or power. Its media converts dissolved calcium and magnesium into tiny stable crystals that are less likely to form scale on fixtures, appliances and heating surfaces.

- This is not a water softener; a hardness test will read about the same before and after treatment
- Pretreatment is required for iron, manganese, copper, oil, hydrogen sulfide, phosphate, and chlorine above 3 ppm
- For household hardness of 25 grains per gallon or more, a salt-based softener is recommended instead
- Not designed to treat chlorine, chemicals, heavy metals or microbiological contaminants; pair with a sediment, carbon or SMART cartridge for filtration
- Heavy, long-standing scale may need one manual cleaning
Shipping
- Orders of $200 or more ship free within the contiguous United States. Orders under $200 ship for a flat $9.99.
- In-stock items (shown as “In Stock” on the product page) ordered before 1:00 PM Pacific Time on a business day typically ship within 1–3 business days. Delivery usually takes 3–7 business days after shipping.
- Backorder, Partial Backorder and Custom Order items are not covered by the 1–3 business day processing time. Their estimated restock or ship time is shown in the stock status on the product page before you order.
- Large items ship by freight and are typically delivered curbside. Smaller items ship by ground carrier such as FedEx or UPS.
- We ship to the 48 contiguous states. We do not ship to Alaska, Hawaii or P.O. boxes.
- Please inspect your delivery on arrival and report any concealed damage or missing parts within 24 hours.
Returns
- Returns can be requested within 30 days of delivery. Items must be unused, uninstalled, in new resalable condition and in their original packaging, including the pallet if delivered on one.
- Approved returns are subject to a 15% restocking fee, and return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility unless the return is the result of our error.
- Installed or used products, custom and made-to-order items, clearance or final-sale items, and replacement parts and accessories are not eligible for return.
