Description
The Eagle 2000 is a neodymium-iron-boron rare-earth magnet used for magnetic water treatment. Mounted as a ring on a filter system riser tube, it passes water through a uniform magnetic field, and it comes in four sizes from a single raw magnet to a 3-magnet, 291 lb full-force assembly.
Highlights
- Neodymium (NdFeB) permanent magnet, a rare-earth alloy of neodymium, iron and boron
- Fits on the riser tube inside a filter system so water flows through the magnetic field
- Changes the structure of hardness so lime and chalk are less likely to stick to surfaces
- Treats the structure of hardness without changing total dissolved solids
- Four sizes from 1 to 3 magnets, rated 97 to 291 lb full force
Details
Avermont Direct is an authorized Crystal Quest dealer. The Eagle 2000 magnet is a component for filter systems that use magnetic treatment to reduce scale build up on surfaces. Sizes differ by the number of magnets, overall height and full-force rating.

- Does not remove calcium from water; total dissolved solids stay the same
- The ion makeup of hardness is converted rather than removed
