Description
The Crystal Quest GAC Filter Cartridge holds a loose bed of coconut shell granular activated carbon, catalytic coconut shell carbon and ERA 6500 copper-zinc granules. It is intended to reduce chlorine and chloramine taste and odor and VOCs, in four sizes for standard and Big Blue housings.

Details
Avermont Direct is an authorized Crystal Quest dealer. This cartridge fits Crystal Quest countertop, under-sink and whole house cartridge systems that use a loose granular carbon stage. Actual cartridge life depends on your feed water quality, system configuration and water use.

- Activated carbon may also reduce some pesticides, herbicides and disinfection byproducts such as THMs; these are not separately tested ratings
- Not designed to reduce hardness minerals, fluoride, nitrate, TDS, lead or other heavy metals; use only on microbiologically safe water
- Not interchangeable with the Crystal Quest Coconut Based 5-Micron Carbon Block cartridge
- Flush before first use as your system manual directs; replace sooner if taste, odor, flow or pressure changes
- Cartridge color may vary; the media does not change
Shipping
- Orders of $200 or more ship free within the contiguous United States. Orders under $200 ship for a flat $9.99.
- In-stock items (shown as “In Stock” on the product page) ordered before 1:00 PM Pacific Time on a business day typically ship within 1–3 business days. Delivery usually takes 3–7 business days after shipping.
- Backorder, Partial Backorder and Custom Order items are not covered by the 1–3 business day processing time. Their estimated restock or ship time is shown in the stock status on the product page before you order.
- Large items ship by freight and are typically delivered curbside. Smaller items ship by ground carrier such as FedEx or UPS.
- We ship to the 48 contiguous states. We do not ship to Alaska, Hawaii or P.O. boxes.
- Please inspect your delivery on arrival and report any concealed damage or missing parts within 24 hours.
Returns
- Returns can be requested within 30 days of delivery. Items must be unused, uninstalled, in new resalable condition and in their original packaging, including the pallet if delivered on one.
- Approved returns are subject to a 15% restocking fee, and return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility unless the return is the result of our error.
- Installed or used products, custom and made-to-order items, clearance or final-sale items, and replacement parts and accessories are not eligible for return.
