Description
The Crystal Quest City Water Test is a mail-in kit: you collect a sample of your tap water at home and send it to National Testing Laboratories, which analyzes it and reports the results against EPA standards. Kits screen for up to 20 heavy metals, 7 inorganic chemicals and 4 physical factors, plus other analytes.
Highlights
- Laboratory analysis of a home-collected sample, not a strip or color-chart test
- Metals such as lead and copper, which can come from household plumbing, are covered in every kit
- Inorganic chemicals such as nitrate, fluoride and chloride are included in all three levels
- Standard adds volatile organic chemicals; Deluxe adds pesticides, herbicides and PCBs
- Results are reported against EPA standards so you can compare your water to established levels
- Step-by-step collection instructions are included with the kit
