Description
The Crystal Quest Big Blue Single-Stage Whole House Water Filter puts one 20-inch cartridge housing on your main cold water line with 1-inch inlet and outlet connections. Choose from nine cartridge types, from 5-micron sediment and carbon block to lead, arsenic, fluoride and alkalizing media.

Details
Avermont Direct is an authorized Crystal Quest dealer. Installation should be performed by a qualified, licensed plumber in a protected location on the main cold line, away from freezing, direct sunlight and heat. After installation, flush for 10 minutes, wait 1 hour, then flush another 10 minutes. A 2-stage version is available separately if you need a dedicated prefilter.

- Sediment: 5-micron pleated for sand, silt, dirt and suspended particles; Carbon Block: coconut-shell 5-micron for chlorine taste and odor and selected organics
- SMART Plus: coconut-shell and catalytic carbon, Eagle Redox Alloys, ion exchange and mineral media for chlorine, chloramine and other contaminants; GAC + Eagle Redox: granular and catalytic carbon for chlorine, chloramine, taste and odor
- Iron & Manganese, Lead and Arsenic cartridges use dedicated media; suitability depends on water chemistry and incoming levels, and testing is needed to verify performance
- Calcium GAC Fluoride for fluoride reduction; Alkalizing raises pH and adds minerals, with final pH depending on incoming water
- A sediment-only cartridge does not reduce dissolved contaminants or chlorine; the system does not replace a water softener or disinfection system
- Included: Big Blue housing with cap, sump and seal, mounting bracket, one selected cartridge, and the floor stand only when With System Stand is selected
- Not included: installation pipe, fittings, shutoff valves, bypass plumbing and wall anchors

Shipping
- Orders of $200 or more ship free within the contiguous United States. Orders under $200 ship for a flat $9.99.
- In-stock items (shown as “In Stock” on the product page) ordered before 1:00 PM Pacific Time on a business day typically ship within 1–3 business days. Delivery usually takes 3–7 business days after shipping.
- Backorder, Partial Backorder and Custom Order items are not covered by the 1–3 business day processing time. Their estimated restock or ship time is shown in the stock status on the product page before you order.
- Large items ship by freight and are typically delivered curbside. Smaller items ship by ground carrier such as FedEx or UPS.
- We ship to the 48 contiguous states. We do not ship to Alaska, Hawaii or P.O. boxes.
- Please inspect your delivery on arrival and report any concealed damage or missing parts within 24 hours.
Returns
- Returns can be requested within 30 days of delivery. Items must be unused, uninstalled, in new resalable condition and in their original packaging, including the pallet if delivered on one.
- Approved returns are subject to a 15% restocking fee, and return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility unless the return is the result of our error.
- Installed or used products, custom and made-to-order items, clearance or final-sale items, and replacement parts and accessories are not eligible for return.
